Hi, I’m Gus, a product designer, creative technologist, and builder of meaningful experiences. My work lives at the intersection of ethics, design, and technology, where thoughtful ideas meet real human needs.

Born in Iraq, raised in Jordan, and shaped by living experiences in Germany, the UK, and the United States, my path isn’t defined by one place but by a commitment to impact everywhere I go. Today I base myself in Durham, North Carolina, where I lead and create with curiosity, rigor, and joy.

I fell in love with design more than two decade ago — not just for how things look, but for how they work, feel, and change lives. Over the years, that passion has grown into a lifelong pursuit: defining design that is ethical, inclusive, and forward-thinking.

At Tranzact, I’ve led cross-functional initiatives across Medicare Advantage, Life, and Medicare Supplement ecosystems — not just optimizing screens, but architecting end-to-end enrollment systems, experimentation frameworks, and scalable capability layers. I’ve built:

Enterprise design systems used across multiple business units
Centralized testing and optimization frameworks
AI-driven messaging infrastructure
Data-informed experimentation pipelines across paid media, CRO, and lifecycle marketing
Cross-carrier digital enrollment optimization roadmaps directly attributed to revenue impact

My focus is not feature delivery. It’s outcome delivery — aligning product, marketing, data, and engineering around measurable growth and operational leverage.

Alongside that, I’m the Co-Founder & CEO of Flan, an AI-powered networking and event engagement platform. I lead product vision, UX architecture, and technical execution — shipping with FlutterFlow, Firebase, and custom APIs. I’ve taken Flan from concept to live platform with real users, monetization strategy, and multi-year roadmap.
